What we do
Our Trust is a philanthropic, non-profit organization serving the people in remote villages of Junglemahal, West Bengal.
A Ramkrishnite monk associated with the Ramkrishna Mission for more than 22 years, Swami Ramatmananda, better known as Swapan Maharaj, started doing philanthropic work mostly among tribals in villages around Belpahari in 2010. That was the first time he came to know of poverty and exploitation in its ruthless form. He felt that so many things are to be done for the downtrodden even in the limited boundary of 50 odd villages that an organization is necessary. That time Sharmali Das was also working with Swapan Maharaj. To mobilize more such people under a common banner, they formed Belpahari Sri Ramkrishna Vivekananda Sevashrama, in 2011
